Celebrating Community Spirit at Caredig
This Christmas, one of our youngest tenants reminded us what kindness truly looks like!
Nine-year-old Aria wanted to make someone’s festive season a little brighter — so she used her own savings to create a thoughtful gift box for a fellow resident in need.
The impact of her gesture was immediate and deeply touching. The recipient shared:
“You have made my Christmas. I have no friends, and this little girl has made my day.”
Aria explained what inspired her generosity:
“I gave my nanna an advent calendar and her eyes lit up, so I thought it would be nice to make someone else feel like that too.”
Moments like this capture the true meaning of community — compassion, thoughtfulness, and looking out for one another.
A huge thank you to Aria, her mum, and our Senior Community Housing Officer, Rebecca Morgan, for helping bring this act of kindness to life.
This is what community is all about. 💙
