Estate Services
A number of our tenants benefit from our estates service which maintains the communal garden areas. Our estates team maintain over 125 Caredig sites across the South Wales area.
Gardens and Communal Areas
Our teams do things like:
- cutting lawns and communal grass
- litter picking
- planting and pruning shrubs
- clearing pathways
- treating weeds
They also clean communal areas such as stairs, hallways, lifts and laundry rooms. This is included in your service charge.
Grounds Maintenance
Between April and October: Cutting front lawns and communal grassed areas every two weeks Cutting grass banks and rough areas every four weeks
Every two weeks: Litter picking rubbish
Twice a year: Pruning shrub beds and making sure that paths and windows are clear. Treating any weeds as part of our weed control programme.
Gardening Competition
We also hold an Annual Gardening Competition with gift vouchers as prizes! The work that goes into these competitions helps to make homes more attractive places to live.
