Community Events
Some of our activities are one-off, fun events, but if you would like to become more involved, we can help with support or training.
We have many groups to be involved with which can include one-off meetings or an ongoing commitment. You can dip in and out, join in virtually or face-to-face, but we will always find a way that best suits you!
If you want to be involved with any of the groups or activities just drop us a message via email, post or telephone.
Ffynnon Las Park
Ffynnon Las in Ammanford is one of Caredig’s large sites, with 57 properties.
A number of tenants had approached us regarding the park at Ffynnon Las, asking us to improve the surroundings of the park.
With the help from local suppliers B&Q and Selco who kindly donated paint and decorating equipment for our project. Within a matter of weeks, we were onsite, replacing fences, broken apparatus and spruced it up with freshly painted bright colours.
As part of community benefits, we approached our contractors AS Wellington who kindly donated and built 3 beautifully handmade benches for the community. Partnership working at its best!
We not just improved the park we brought a community together who enjoyed working with us on the project.
We received some lovely feedback from tenants living in Ffynnon Las “Mr Owen – thank you so much, the park is looking beautiful”
“Wow we love the picnic benches, I can’t wait to sit with my grandchildren and have a picnic"
St Nicholas Square, Swansea
Events on site are a great way to get your feedback and also bring services to you. We recently held an event at St Nicholas Square in Swansea marina. Tenants had been experiencing a number of issues with recycling and problems with anti-social behaviour. We invited the police, the council recycling team and the fire service to come along and chat to tenants. We had great feedback and are working towards some solutions to the issues.

TPAS CYMRU
We are proud to work with TPAS Cymru who, through hearing the tenants' voice in the regulation of housing associations in Wales, gathers views and concerns from tenants across Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.
