We’re thrilled to share that our very own Tomas Davies has been shortlisted for Young Achiever of the Year in the 2025 Chartered Institute of Housing’s Welsh Housing Awards!
A Rising Star in Housing and Sustainability
Tomas joined Caredig as an Apprentice Project Officer, and from day one, he’s brought energy, curiosity, and a deep commitment to making a difference. Now a valued member of our Decarbonisation team, Tomas is helping to shape the future of sustainable housing in Wales.
While working full-time, Tomas is also studying part-time for a BSc (Hons) in Construction Project Management at the University of South Wales. Balancing academic study with hands-on project work is no small feat, but Tomas has consistently impressed colleagues and partners alike with his professionalism, initiative, and passion for tenant-focused sustainability.
Making a Difference Through Decarbonisation
Tomas’s work contributes directly to Caredig’s mission to create energy-efficient, environmentally responsible homes. His role in the Decarbonisation team supports our long-term goals of reducing carbon emissions, improving energy performance, and ensuring our homes are fit for the future.
Whether it’s engaging with contractors, supporting retrofit projects, or contributing to strategic planning, Tomas brings a thoughtful, can-do attitude that exemplifies the values we hold dear at Caredig.
