Plaid Cymru AM Visits Hazel Court
Family Housing Association Wales (FHA Wales) welcomed Plaid Cymru AM Dai Lloyd to Hazel Court, located in Sketty Park, Swansea. Hazel Court offers one and two bedroom apartments for over 55s, as well as a gym, hair salon and restaurant. The scheme provides independent living with the option of flexible care and support.
During his visit, Mr. Lloyd met with staff and tenants who live at Hazel Court and benefit from FHA Wales’ services.
The visit comes at a time when the Welsh Assembly Government is beginning to review the funding that the Supporting People programme provides. Family Housing received just over £2 Million in finding last year from the Supporting People in funding last year from the Supporting People programme, this has helped to deliver essential accommodation and support services across South Wales.
