Funding for Carmarthenshire Floating Support

Family Housing have been successful in securing funding for a full time role based in Carmarthenshire Floating Support service. This will provide Housing First type wrap around support in rural parts of the county,

This service will meet the growing demand for more intensive support and move people from insecure living arrangements to permanent, sustained tenancies and in so doing, support and enable people to lead a more stable lifestyle. It will do this by delivering a service in line with our 360 psychological model which is flexible, holistic and driven by the person’s choice and empowerment.

Support will be scaled up or down and re-accessed whenever required, according to the support needs and presentation of the person and will be delivered on days / times dictated by the person. All engagement will be determined by the person’s needs and aspirations.

Funding has been provided by HSG funding via Carmarthenshire County Council
