Cartref Cynnes Welcomes Carmarthenshire County Council CEO, Wendy Walters

Caredig was delighted to welcome Wendy Walters, Chief Executive of Carmarthenshire County Council, to Cartref Cynnes, our extra care scheme based in the heart of Carmarthenshire.

During her visit, Wendy enjoyed a tour of the scheme, offering us the opportunity to discuss some of the planned developments and improvements we’re excited to bring forward. She also joined us for some light refreshments, where she shared glowing feedback about her experience.
Wendy praised the fantastic work of Steve Thornton, our Scheme Manager, and the whole Cartref Cynnes team — noting the warm environment, high‑quality facilities, and excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the building.
