Regulatory Judgement

Every year, the Welsh Government carries out a regulatory assessment to look at how Caredig is performing as a housing association. This includes how well we are governed, how we deliver services to tenants, and how financially strong we are as an organisation.

This process is an important way of checking that we are well run, that we listen to tenants, that we understand our performance, and that we manage risk responsibly while continuing to improve.

It also provides assurance that Caredig is financially resilient and making good use of resources to support both current services and future priorities.

Our 2026 Regulatory Review is compliant and is a positive reflection of Caredig’s overall performance and provides reassurance to tenants, leaseholders, partners and others that we continue to meet the standards expected of us.
