Celebrating Community Spirit: Neighbour of the Year Award 2025
Every year, we’re reminded that the heart of our communities isn’t found in buildings or streets—it’s in the people who make those places feel like home. This year’s Neighbour of the Year Award 2025 celebrates four remarkable tenants whose kindness, dedication, and everyday acts of generosity help create stronger, more connected neighbourhoods.
Meet our inspiring winners:
🏆 Shane – Regency House
Shane is the first to step in when someone needs support—whether it’s checking in on a neighbour, offering a helping hand, or simply brightening someone’s day with a friendly chat. His thoughtful presence strengthens the sense of safety and connection at Regency House.
🏆 Rachel – Cwmdu Close
For nine years, Rachel has been at the heart of community life in Cwmdu Close. From organising local events to encouraging neighbours to come together, she has played a vital role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
🏆 Robert – Sketty Road
A familiar and friendly face for more than two decades, Robert has made a lasting impact by sharing home-cooked meals with his neighbours and lovingly maintaining the communal garden. His care and consistency have brought comfort and joy to countless residents.
🏆 Suzanne – Ty Dyffryn
