Tenant Hub Members Visit Samlet Road Development

Caredig recently welcomed members of our Tenant Hub, alongside Head of Development Lucy Roberts and colleagues from the Housing team, to a site visit at our Samlet Road development. The visit offered an exciting opportunity to see first-hand the progress being made on this transformative housing project, with contractors Castell Group

Engaging with our Tenant Hub throughout the development process ensures that tenant voices remain central to the creation of new homes. These visits help us stay aligned with what matters most to our communities — from design and sustainability to long-term comfort and affordability.

The Samlet Road development will deliver 35 high-quality homes, each designed with low-carbon technologies and environmentally conscious features. All homes are built to achieve EPC A ratings, supporting energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact for future residents.

Feedback from the Hub group was overwhelmingly positive, with members expressing enthusiasm and praise for the quality and sustainability of the development. Their insights continue to shape our approach and reinforce our commitment to building homes that meet the needs of today and tomorrow.

The site being handed over in phases with phase 1 handing over due at the end of August.
